After falling four stories off of a building in San Francisco, “The Biggest Loser” popular contestant Sam Poueu has tweeted that he finally has been released:
“Home sweet West Hollywood. I’ve been discharged from the hospital and am now ready for my next challenge. Outpatient therapy at …home.”
Poueu was at a friend’s birthday party in the City by the Bay when the life-threatening accident occurred back on Sept. 3. He has been hospitalized since.
Last week, Sam’s fiancée Stephanie Anderson provided this update on Sam, who since leaving the show had become a trainer at The Biggest Loser Resort.
“What an overwhelmingly fantastic day…. Sam stood up and walked for the first time in over 3 months!!! His doctors still say he’s nothing short of a miracle and that with extensive physical therapy in the next few days he’ll be ready to come back home with me this week to soon start out-patient therapy. I cannot contain my ultimate JOY, we both are so happy and so are our families with his continued progress and recovery! Best.Day.Ever.”
