No matter what the future holds for the Jersey Shore, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his famous abs won’t be abandoning his MTV fans. The reality star has inked a new series development deal with the network.
According to variety.com, Sorrentino isn’t attached to any specific project right now, but is expected to film a pilot for MTV sometime this year.
“I’m excited to continue my relationship with MTV, which has been home for me for the last couple of years,” said Sorrentino. “I’m really grateful for all the support from my fans. Hopefully, there will be plenty more situations in the future.”
Sorrentino’s pending project marks the third such deal for a Jersey Shore cast member. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “Jwoww” Farley have already signed on for a series that will explore their every day lives, friendship and hookups. Meanwhile, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio’s project will follow him and his childhood friends on the road as he builds his DJ career.
Before any of the aforementioned projects hit the air, however, the Jersey Shore cast is busy filming the fourth season of their hit reality series in Italy.
