Another reality TV couple are getting ready to take the plunge. Fan favorite Chris Lambton, who was runner-up on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of The Bachelorette, is engaged to Peyton Wright, who vied for Andy Baldwin’s affections on season ten of The Bachelor.

Lambton proposed to Wright at his home in Cape Cod in late June, and she happily accepted. Afterward, “the entire family came over and joined us for a celebration at his house,” Wright told Us Magazine, noting that she and Lambton have yet to set a wedding date. “We’re just going to enjoy being engaged for awhile and worry about that later.”

As for her engagement ring, Wright notes that it’s being sized, but, in the interim, she’s donning a family heirloom. “Actually, it’s really sweet. I’m wearing Chris’s mother’s ring, right now,” shared Wright, referring to Lambton’s late mother.

Shortly after news of their engagement broke, the couple began receiving well wishes from friends and fans and took to Twitter to respond to them. “Thank you all for the congrats! I’m a luckyguy,” tweeted Lambton. Wright added that she and her fiancé “are so happy.”

Lambton and Wright were introduced at an event in Raleigh, N.C., last August by their mutual pal, Jesse Beck. Beck appeared with Lambton on The Bachelorette and with Wright on Bachelor Pad last summer.

For Lambton, it was definitely love at first sight. “I knew it the first day I met her – she walked in and I was like, ‘Oh, my God,’” Lambton told People.

Peyton was quite taken with Lambton, too, describing him to Us Magazine as “a Southern gentleman at heart.”

The-bride-to-be is looking forward to planning her wedding to that gentleman soon. “Once I get over the initial shock, I think we’ll sit down and start putting together our ideas of what I like, what he likes, and what we’ve both envisioned,” said Wright.
