A group of Bachelor franchise alumni and a former Survivor aren’t holding out much hope for Ashley Hebert to find everlasting love on this season of The Bachelorette. The gang weighed in on the Bachelorette Beatdown, a weekly recap webcam stream on rtvzone.com.
Despite the fact that Hebert has finally wised up and parted ways with bad boy Bentley Williams, Trista Sutter, who found her firefighter hubby Ryan Sutter via The Bachelorette, is down on Hebert’s chances of making a long lasting connection.
“I don’t know if [Ashley] will find what I have with Ryan,” said Sutter. “I feel like she needs a lot of guidance, and she’s kind of getting lost and losing herself… I really don’t know that she’s ready. I really want love for her. I just don’t know if it’s going to happen through the show.”
Sutter, however, does see a strong bond developing between Hebert and bachelor JP Rosenbaum; a bond she can relate to.
“I love JP. He really reminds me of my own Ryan. He seems very genuine, kind and sincere,” revealed Sutter, who believes he’ll be one of the last men standing. “They’ve got great chemistry.”
David Good, co-winner of Bachelor Pad and author of The Man Code, believes Hebert will ultimately end up choosing between JP and Ben Flajnik. “But I think she ends up like Brad and Emily,” contended Good. “By herself.”
Survivor’s Eliza Orlins agreed. “I think she’s going to end up with no one, at least no one from this show,” said Orlins, adding that perhaps Hebert “will meet someone on Bachelor Pad, next year.”
But before you get all teary-eyed for Hebert, Ashley Spivey, who met Hebert when they both competed for Brad Womack on the last installment of The Bachelor, had a positive update on her friend.
“I had brunch with Ashley on Sunday,” shared Spivey, noting that The Bachelorette was in New York seeing friends. “She’s happy.”
But is that happy as in happily ever after with one of her suitors or happily alone?
