Susan Lucci has turned down an offer by Prospect Park to stay with All My Children when the series moves online.
According to Deadline.com, Lucci, who angrily denounced ABC Daytime president Brian Frons for his role in canceling the series in a new epilogue for the paperback version of her All My Life book that was leaked over the weekend, asked for more money, fewer hours and a commitment for a primetime series.
The website goes on to say that as a result, Prospect Park may reevaluate its short-term strategy for All My Children and One Life to Live. Initially, Prospect Park was going to re-launch both soaps the beginning of 2012. Now, without Lucci, plans for AMC may be put on hold.
