After hitting rock bottom following a major scandal last year -– she accepted money from a businessman in exchange for access to her ex-husband Prince Andrew Sarah Ferguson shares her personal struggle to rebuild her life in the upcoming docu-series, Finding Sarah. The candid six-episode series will premiere on the Oprah Winfrey Network on Sunday, June 12 at 9 p.m.

OWN’s cameras will follow Fergie on her journey to find herself and happiness, while she confronts her past and takes positive steps to change her life. To guide her through the mind/body makeover, the Duchess seeks help from Oprah’s experts, Dr. Phil McGraw and Suze Orman, among other extraordinary individuals. Together they help her address tough personal issues, from finances and self-esteem to physical fitness.

In the docu-series premiere, Dr. Phil delves into the Duchess’ past, helping her realize how the traumas of her childhood still impact her and challenging her to admit that she is “emotionally bankrupt.” And money-guru Orman offers Ferguson, who’s facing bankruptcy and feeling defeated, tough-love advice on achieving financial independence.

As the series progresses, Ferguson will seek guidance from several unique “healers,” from life coach Martha Beck to a Shaman in the Arizona desert to horse whisperer Koelle Simpson. Each experience leaves the Duchess feeling more empowered.

Ferguson will face physical challenges, too, as she struggles to get back into shape, bravely agreeing to a 26-mile trek through Canada’s Arctic and embarking on an intense training program with a world-class trainer.

While the Duchess’ journey is unique to her, viewers will learn with her as she struggles through a myriad of relatable issues. By sharing her story, Ferguson hopes not only to improve herself, but also to inspire others to take steps towards leading a better life.
