Meet Dancing with the Stars’ New Cast

Imagine Chaz Bono tangoing? George Clooney’s gorgeous ex, Elisabetta Canalis, cha-cha-cha-ing? David Arquette Viennese waltzing? After months of speculation, the new batch of celebrities to compete in Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars was announced last night. And show host Tom Bergeron wasn’t exaggerating, when he called the lot “our most surprising cast yet.”

Here’s the full list of celebrities who will be vying for the shiny mirror ball trophy this fall:

David Arquette; an actor, writer, director, producer and estranged husband of Courteney Cox.

Ron Artest; the 6-foot-7 forward from the Los Angeles Lakers.

Chaz Bono; the LGBT rights advocate and only child of Sonny and Cher was the subject of the recently Emmy-nominated documentary, Becoming Chaz.

Elisabetta Canalis; the Italian actress/model, who once dated George Clooney.

Kristin Cavallari; former star of MTV’s The Hills and Laguna Beach.

Nancy Grace; the outspoken advocate for victims’ rights is one of TV’s most respected legal analysts.

Rob Kardashian; Kourtney, Kim and Khloe’s younger brother and co-manager of the female pop group, BG5.

Carson Kressley; the fashion expert just debuted his new show,  Carson Nation, on OWN.

Ricki Lake; a pop culture icon, who has built a career on her candid, straight talk.

J.R. Martinez; an Iraq War veteran, motivational speaker and actor on All My Children.

Chynna Phillips; the Wilson Phillips singer is married to Billy Baldwin.

Hope Solo; considered the best goalkeeper in the world, she’s been the starter for the US women’s national team since 2005.

The Dancing with the Stars two-hour premiere airs at 8 p.m. on Monday, September 19 on ABC.
