Getting dumped by The Bachelorette’s Ashley Hebert might turn out to be the best thing that’s ever happened to Ben Flajnik. The Sonoma, California winemaker, who was rejected by Hebert when she chose J.P. Rosenbaum as her fiance, has hooked up with Ghost Whisperer’s Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Life and Style magazine reports that Jennifer and Ben were spotted dining out at Lion’s Pub in San Francisco, California, on August 6. And, according to witnesses, they looked very cozy. One patron told the publication that the pair were “making out,” while another noted that Jennifer and Ben “appeared to be dating.”

Hewitt became a fan and admirer of Ben, while he was competing on The Bachelorette.

“Watching the bachelorette! I love u Ben c!! Take this rose I have for u! Choose me!!!!:),” she tweeted on July 26, only to realize she’d goofed and mentioned the wrong guy a few moments later. “Oops Ben f!!! I’m so flustered I typed the wrong initial!! Lol!!”

Watching the show’s finale inspired some more tweets from Hewitt.

“Omg! Ben f except my final rose !!! I love that ring. Neil lane u rock!!” posted Hewitt, who was obviously delighted when Hebert gave Ben the heave ho and chose J.P. Rosenbaum instead. “Happy for Ashley…. Gotta book a flight to Sonoma !!!:):)”

Before booking that flight, however, Hewitt had to get Ben on board the possibility of meeting. And she hoped to get things started on Twitter.

“Let’s get Ben f to be a lovely! [So] I can give him twugs and twisses!!!:)” tweeted Hewett to her followers.

By August 2, Ben apparently got wind of Hewitt’s affections.

“Aaaaaaahhhhhhh Ben f is following me!!!!!” tweeted Hewitt. “You lovelys are the best!!!!:):) sending a million roses to u guys too.”

Hewitt’s had her share of romance let downs, including her split from Alex Beh in May. Let’s hope this love connection works out.
