Relive the final moments from Friday Night Lights, which was nominated for four Emmys this year, with clear eyes and full hearts! And remember in the words of Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch), Texas forever!
[Note: Also, check out Taylor in the hot new trailer for his starring role in John Carter.]
I have to admit, I was one of those who initially scoffed at the idea of watching a series about football, but once I sat down and tuned it, it turned out to be so much more. High School football may be the factor that unites the community in Dillion, TX, but what was riveting about the series was the individual lives of Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler), his family and his players. I was hooked and always anticipating the start of the next season during the series’ hiatus.
It also didn’t hurt that Friday Night Nights introduced so much hot, new talent to the TV screen: Aimee Teegarden (Coach’s daughter), Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins), Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen), Jesse Plemons (Landry Clarke), Adrianne Palicki (Tyra Collette), Jurnee Smollett (Jess), and Michael B. Jordan (Vince).
